More Horsepower for the New Buick Enclave

From Examiner.com
The Buick Enclave for 2009 gets more horsepower and offers a lot of room and features.

The Buick Enclave is a premium midsize crossover that shares its platform with the Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Arcadia and the Saturn Outlook. For 2009 the Enclave gets 13 more horsepower and some new features.

There are two trim levels available CX and CXL, but only one engine/transmission combination. Enclaves are either front-drive or all-wheel drive. And there is no transfer case. The Enclave gets the 3.6-liter V-6 engine which is now rated at 288 horsepower and a six-speed automatic transmission.
The combination is rated at 16 miles per gallon in the city and 22 miles per gallon the highway with all-wheel drive. The Buick SUV is tow-rated at 4500 pounds.

An available navigation system with real-time traffic updates is available for 2009 along with a wireless cell phone link, heated and cooled seats and a 110-volt inverter that is standard with all the entertainment packages.
There is even a rearview camera available and it does not require the owner to purchase the optional navigation system. The ride quality is good and the vehicle feels smooth and stable. The enclave is large and offers plenty of people and cargo room.

Prices range from $35,000 up to nearly $40,000. On our scale of one to five, four tires and a spare, the 2009 Buick Enclave SUV rates a four plus. It is expensive, but it offers a lot.
